To control quality and design flexibility, we have developed our own range of silos. As well as being used as part of larger projects, they are now available as a standalone product.
Silos are primarily used by our customers as storage for the sorbent injection for acid reduction (sodium bicarbonate, hydrated lime) and for the collection of sorbent and ash from the bag filter (cleanPULSE).
Welded Silos
Our welded silos are delivered complete on a flat back vehicle. They are manufactured from 4mm mild steel with a durbar plate top. The silos are 3380mm in diameter and are provided at a length to suit the capacity required.
Our standard silo has an overall height of 12,500mm with supports, and clearance under the bottom flange of 2500mm. It has a capacity of 70m³.
Panelled (Bolted) Silos
Where access is limited, we have designed a range of paneled silos which can be built on-site, internally, or externally. Along with the welded version, they can be supplied with a bottom skirt to contain spillages or provide weatherproofing.
Silo Accessories
We also offer numerous accessories to accompany our silos, including:
Our silos can be painted exactly to your specification and colour - in fact virtually any special requirements can be catered for. If further feeding systems are required these too can be tailor-made to suit your brief.
If you would like more information or if you have any enquiries about our cleanSORB silo range, or indeed any of our other products please don’t hesitate to give us a call on 01858 419104 or complete the enquiry form.
We were contracted to provide 2 small Ceramic filters suitable for a small volume but with a design maximum temperature of 600°C. In addition the filters will be handling a syngas which cannot be mixed with oxygen so an alternative to compressed air would need to be used for the ‘Cleanpulse’ cleaning of the 25 Ceramic element in each of these CPC78 filters. In addition dosing of small amounts of a re-agent is required so the client also opted for a ‘Cleandose’ 25kg bag skid. Find out more about Project CAD below.
