Last year was a crazy year for sure, but we continued to support all our clients on a multitude of projects throughout the various lockdowns.
So we’ve been busier than ever!
To cope with the demand, we’re pleased to have recruited an engineer to further strengthen our project team.
Sam Potapovs joins us as a Project Manager and CAD Designer. Sam brings a wealth of experience to Filter Designs, primarily from the oil & gas sector.
Based in Scotland, Sam’s been getting to know us better on many video calls so far, but we look forward to the time when he can join us “down south” and work alongside us at our base here in Market Harborough.
But for now, Sam is in charge of our Scotland office, which is great, as we are currently thrilled to be supporting a number of key clients north of the border.
Welcome Sam!
We were contracted to provide 2 small Ceramic filters suitable for a small volume but with a design maximum temperature of 600°C. In addition the filters will be handling a syngas which cannot be mixed with oxygen so an alternative to compressed air would need to be used for the ‘Cleanpulse’ cleaning of the 25 Ceramic element in each of these CPC78 filters. In addition dosing of small amounts of a re-agent is required so the client also opted for a ‘Cleandose’ 25kg bag skid. Find out more about Project CAD below.
